Located on Wentworth Avenue, Surrey Hills, this 264 room lifestyle hotel is designed by Bates Smart and will be opened in 2021 and operated by Ace Hotel. It will contain a rooftop bar, conference centre and offers a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop at the Ground Floor. All the restaurants and bars are open to the public and hotel guests. The 18-story hotel integrates the brick heritage-listed Tyne House warehouse.
Ace Hotel is a development which draws on the history and culture of its location in Surry Hills. An existing 9 storey brickwork building constructed in 1916 is seamlessly integrated into the new contemporary hotel areas. Within the hotel are unique, distinct restaurant and bar areas provided for the public. This hotel is Ace Hotel’s first hotel in Australia and will be the latest addition to their brand including locations in New York, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and London.
