Sky One is a 35-storey mixed-use building with premium retail, dining and luxury apartments, designed to support and cater to the burgeoning community of Box Hill, one of Melbourne’s fastest growing suburbs.
The tallest residential tower in Box Hill, Sky One is elegantly designed with bronze glazing to reflect dynamic changes in environment, as well as the unbounded idealists who call Sky One, home. Positioned opposite the established restaurant strip in Carrington Road and Station Street, it is adjacent to the train station and Vicinity Shopping Centre. Smartly arranged communal amenities ensure that Box Hill enhances the existing street culture to become a sophisticated new community hub.
As part of Time & Place’s ongoing commitment to culture and improving the public realm, we collaborated with the artist Pamela Lee, who’s goldfish and coy designs became incorporated into the building’s prominent ground level corner installations
